ManyBibles is a Bible reading and study site operated by oconnorventures.com, LLC. Reading Scripture here requires no account and no personal information.
What we store
If you create an account, we store your email address and the study data you create — highlights, notes, bookmarks, and reading preferences. That data belongs to you, is visible only to you, and is deleted when you delete your account.
If you use the AI study features, the passage and question you send are processed by our model providers to generate the answer. Answers are cached so the same question is not paid for twice. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your study data to train models.
Site analytics
We count page views to understand which pages are read and how visitors arrive — for example, from one of our videos. We use Vercel Web Analytics and a simple counter of our own. Neither uses cookies or tracks you across other sites. They record only the page, the referring site, the campaign tags on a link you followed (such as which of our YouTube channels it came from), your country, and your device type — never your IP address or any identifier, so a visit cannot be linked to you. Administrative pages are excluded.
YouTube
ManyBibles publishes its own Scripture videos to its own YouTube channels, and uses YouTube API Services to do so. By using those features you are agreeing to the YouTube Terms of Service, and to the Google Privacy Policy.
This is a first-party publishing tool: only the site operator connects a YouTube account, and it is used solely to upload, caption and manage ManyBibles’ own videos, and to read the performance of those videos. We do not access, store or process any other person’s YouTube data, subscriptions, watch history or viewing activity.
Stored YouTube authorisation is limited to a refresh token and the channel’s name and id, kept so scheduled publishing can continue without re-authorising daily. Analytics we store are aggregate per-video counts for our own videos — views, watch time, average percentage viewed, likes, comments, shares — and contain nothing about individual viewers.
Access can be revoked at any time at Google security settings, which immediately ends our ability to act on the account.
Scripture and AI
Bible text is served verbatim from public-domain translations. The New Consensus Bible is an AI-generated rendering and is labelled as such wherever it appears, including in the description of every video we publish. Videos containing synthetic imagery are declared to YouTube as altered or synthetic media.
